Abolition U.K is a grassroots organisation formed in 2008. We are the only nationwide grassroots organization focused solely on the issue of death penalty abolition. We aim to strengthen the international dimension of the struggle against capital punishment.
We recognise the death penalty is the ultimate, irreversible denial of human rights. By working towards the abolition of the death penalty we look to end the cycle of violence created by a system tarnished with fatal flaws and injustices.

Heard about Matt Puckett?
Matt Puckett was just 18 years old when he was charged with capital murder and sentenced to death in Mississippi where he has been on death row for over 15 years. Matt has a lot of evidence that points to his innocence and it would be great if you could help him and his family by signing his petition.
140th Death Row Exoneree Just Released!
Joe D'Ambrosio is the 140th death row inmate to be exonerated since 1973 and the sixth in Ohio, where he has languished on it's death row for 20 years. His case was an all too familiar story of prosecutorial misconduct and key exculpatory evidence being withheld by the State. Read more here
Rob Will: Motion denied
Rob Will, a man with a very credible case of innocence on Texas death row has recently had his motion denied and his case is headed towards the fifth circuit of appeals. He is now also without a lawyer at this crucial time.

Jimmy Dennis campaign are still collecting pictures for Jimmy Dennis' video. They are putting together a YouTube video which will include pictures of Jimmy & his supporters, using a song by Olaf Blackwood. So far they have collected over 30 pictures of supporters, but would like to have a total of at least 50.
